Wende Bartley, M.Mus, is a sound energy practitioner, composer and ritual
performance artist. For over 25
years she has pursued an artistic practice dedicated to an awakening of the
voice of the feminine, the earth, and a reunited humanity. Her concert works have been performed
and broadcast internationally, appearing on several CD releases. She brings her
deep listening skills, creativity and knowledge of the voice into her sound
energy practice, offering workshops, sound circles, group rituals, and
individual healing sessions. She
has been certified in the SoulVoice practice, a unique method created by Karina
Schelde which works with the vibratory power of the human voice to create
energetic shifts and healing at the physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental
layers of one's being.
Wende has traveled extensively to the megalithic temple
sites located in Malta, leading sound rituals and making recordings within the
spectacular acoustics of the Hypogeum, a 7000 year old underground temple where
the "Sleeping Lady" statue was discovered. Based on her experiences in Malta and in the ancient
Minoan sites in Crete, she has composed a series of sound journeys entitled
"The Temple Project" that are designed to help bring the listener
into alignment with the vibratory wisdom of the ancestors of these sacred
places. These ancient wisdom is of utmost importance in helping us navigate
through the multiple challenges facing our world today.
